CLIMATE CHANGE INVOLVES US ALL - ACT NOW!
KÖP15 is a climate campaign organized by the Finnish NGO The Left Youth. Its aims are deepening and adding the public discussion on climate politics, to spread information, to influence on the decision-makers and to provide possibilities to participate. The main aim of the campaign is COP15, United Nation’s climate summit organized in Copenhagen 7.-18.12.2009. The campaign organizes bus rides from Finland to the mobilisations taking place to during the summit.
All the activities of the campaign are open to everybody. Before the summit there will be trainings, demonstrations and other events. More info you can get from the campaign coordinator by e-mail: .
REGISTRATION TO THE KÖP15-DEMONSTRATION TRIP HAS STARTED!
Welcome to the climate-revolutionary journey to Copenhagen’s climate mass mobilisations. Read the registration instructions thoroughly and follow them.
THE FACTS OF THE BUSTRIP
1. Registration deadline
All the individual- and groupregistrations should be done by october 31th. This means that the trip also has to be paid by then. The registration is binding and people cancelling their trip after 31th of october will not be returned their payment.
2. Travelling times, buses and accommodation
There will be probably three or four buses, depending on the amount of registrations. All the buses leave on Thursday 10th of december near the Helsinki railway station. Entering the buses from Turku is also possible.
The return journey starts on Monday morning 14th of december. We will arrive to to Turku on Tuesday 15th at 7.35 AM to Helsinki at 10-11 AM. One
bus stays in Copenhagen until 20th of december and returns to Finland on Monday 21th, the same times as the earlier buses. This busride costs a bit
more than the earlier return and the people returning with it have to find themselves accommodation from Monday 14th to Sunday 20th december. If
there will be not enough registrations to the longer trip, it will be cancelled. In that case all the registration fees will be returned.
The detailed schedule of the trips and the starting places of the buses will be informed to the registered people during november via e-mail.
The accommodation from 11th to 14th december on a floor of a school in Copenhagen is included in the price. If you want, you can also organise
your own accommodation.
3. Prices
Trip A, 10.-15.12.
150 eur/person
Trip B, 10.-20.12.
180 eur/person
4. Registration and payment
Individual registration
One persons’ registration happens via account trasfer: Buy the price considering you (depending, if you choose the trip A or B) to the account
152130-4160. The last possible payment date is 31th of december. Write to the message-field the word KÖP15 and your name, date of birth, e-mail
address and phone number. For example: KÖP15 Andy Activist 130783 040-1234567.
Group registration
The registration of more than one person happens like this: Pay to the account 125130-4160 all the registration fees of the group by 31th of
december. Write to the account transfer’s message field the text KÖP15 and the name of your group. Send an e-mail to the campaign’s e-mail address
(ilmastokampanja-at-vasemmistonuoret.fi) an e-mail that includes the following information of all the members of the group:
- name
- date of birth
- e-mail
- phone number
- trip A or B
Attach the receipt of the payment to the e-mail. If it is impossible for you to get an electric receipt, tell it in the e-mail so the campaign coordinator will check that the payment has arrived.
5. Travelling to only one direction/entering the buses somewhere in the way
People who are travelling the whole way to both directions (including people who enter the buses from Turku) are taken first to the buses. After 9th of november it is possible to ask if there is room left for people travelling not the whole way. The prices to those people will be discussed separately.
6. Responsibility
During the trip everybody is responsible of him-/herself and his/her participation off the activities in Copenhagen. The trips are carried out
whit Force Majeure-reserves. It is recommended to have a travelling insurance when leaving to the trip.
